There are many different items of table stationery for example place cards, menus, serviettes etc. Available below are a few, all of which can be purchased from Ashtons.

Please Note:

Some hotels or venues may already supply some of the table stationery (ie serviettes) within your package. It is worth checking with them exactly what they do provide.

place cards

White, ivory, cream or pearlised card (see our types of card for more details), foiled in gold or silver. Place cards available in smooth card only, for ease of writing. They are personalised with the names of the bride and groom, the date of the wedding and a design of your choice.

Place cards are also available in raised ink or standard ink if this matches your invitations. Please ask for details and prices.

table seating plan

If your wedding breakfast is a formal sit down meal, a table seating plan will be needed. Once your acceptances are received then you can start to draw this up.

We recommend this be ordered during the last two weeks running up to the wedding, it only takes 2 or 3 days for us to print. Please help us by either typing the names out or clearly handwriting them. If you have time, then we would suggest you see a proof to make sure everything is spelt correctly and to make sure there are no last minute changes.

The traditional layout for the top table is as follows (although there may be variations on this according to your guest list):

We will match your table plan as near to your stationery as we are able. Cream or white with gold or silver foil are the most popular at present, but other colourways are available, you only have to ask. It comes beautifully presented in a matching card envelope, for storage after the wedding.

The size of the table plan including the backing board is 500mm x 390mm.

An ideal way of identifying each table either by numbers, letters or any other suitable choice (ie. flowers, countries etc). Produced in several different formats, either single cards to go in a holder or tent fold to stand on the table. All are foiled with the names of the bride and groom and the date of the wedding.

menus

For that special memory of your wedding breakfast. Usually 2 or 3 per table detailing the menu for the day in a design and colour to match all your stationery, particularly the place cards. The list of toasts and wines as appropriate can also be included. Available in any of the 4 sizes, the menus are printed on smooth card only in either white, cream or any of the pearl colours. The ink on the front of the menu is gold or silver foil and standard black inside the folded card.

serviettes, favours, cameras, bubbles and table confetti

Serviettes come in a range of colours although white and cream are the most popular. Favours offer just a little extra on the table and come in a wide variety of different types. Fun cameras are a great way to capture those special moments. Place one on each table as a great 'ice breaker' for your guests. Bubbles are a fun alternative to confetti for children large and small.
